Advantages of Slovenia

Nature & climate

In spite of the tiny size of the country, Slovenian nature and climate are drastically diverse. There are three climatic influences that meet in the country. A harsh Alpine climate prevails in the mountains, the coast has a sub-Mediterranean mild climate, and the north-east lowlands have a continental climate. These conditions create endless variety of the landscape and stunning beauty of its nature. In early spring you can ski in the mountains and then just in 1 hour of driving take a sunbathe and swim in the sea!

Foreigners from Slavic-speaking countries will be even a little bit more privileged here since the Slavs were one ethno-linguistic group only 1,300 years ago, and you can understand quite a bit of the Slovenian language immediately when you arrive.

The Slovenian education system ranks the 4th in the rating of the EU educational systems.
